What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. If you fill in an enquiry form, we receive your name, telephone number, and — where you supply them — your email address, postcode, the service you are interested in, your timescale and whatever you write about your project. Our server also records the IP address the enquiry was sent from, which helps us identify automated spam.

We do not ask for and do not want financial details, card numbers or any other sensitive information. Please do not send them through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quotation. That is processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list, and we do not send unsolicited marketing.

Who sees it

Enquiries are emailed to iFit Homes Ltd at enquiries@ifit-homes.co.uk and copied to Star Websites, who build and maintain this website, so they can confirm the contact form is working. Email is delivered through our mail provider, Stackmail. Nobody else receives your details, and we never sell or trade them.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful for the project they relate to and our own record-keeping obligations, and are deleted when they are not. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Cookies and measurement

This website sets nothing on your device that is not needed to make it work until you tell us otherwise. When you first visit you are asked whether you are happy for us to measure how our advertising performs.

• Essential — a single entry stored in your browser recording the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again. No tracking, and it never leaves your device.
• Advertising and analytics (only if you accept) — Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies, which tell us how many people found us, which pages they read, and whether an advert led to an enquiry. We use Google Consent Mode, so these are blocked entirely until you accept.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which will make the choice banner appear again.

Google Maps

The map on our contact and coverage pages is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. If the map is blocked or fails to load, our address is still shown in plain text underneath it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Write to enquiries@ifit-homes.co.uk or to our registered address and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
